If you have been following this website at all over the past week or so, you are aware of our upcoming Home Buyers Seminar next week. In this week?s Best on the Vine, several of my fellow tomatoes have touched on topics that relate well to the topics we will be covering at the seminar.

Please make plans to attend if you are even considering buying a home in the next six months. It will be the best couple of hours you could spend. Check out the links below for more great information on buying or selling a home.

As fate would have it, Jennifer Cowan of MaxSell Real Estate is holding a Home Buyers Seminar next week in Smyrna. Good luck Jennifer! Maybe we can compare notes afterward.

Here are some of the topics that will be discussed at our Home Buyers Seminar, and some relavent links to more information

Mortgage rates ? Mary De Luca over at Beltway Ramblings does a great job of explaining in everyday terms how mortgage interest rates work.

Credit ? Karl at Pensacola Real Estate News tells you how to keep the credit bureaus from selling your private information.

Appraisals ? Bob from Raleigh Real Estate Talk gives you the inside story on appraisals

Rent vs. Buy ? Margaret of Focus on Crofton fame spells out what you need to consider when making that decision. I know, our rental market is a lot different from Crofton. But the concepts and reasoning is the same!

Preparing to buy ? Doug covers Tucson Real Estate and talks about the fears buyers have. I echo Doug?s sentiments and I know you will get the same attitude from the real estate professionals you meet at our seminar. Great work Doug!

Real Estate Investing ? John with Windermere East Bay Real Estate has some sage advice for the investor buyers out there. If you are a real estate investor or are thinking about it, you?ll be glad you read this.

We are going to have some stuff for home sellers too. It is a tough time to be a home seller in Dothan, and most other markets as well. Here is information on topics relevant to home sellers.

Wendy Smith is the Foreclosure Blogger, and gives us 5 tips for finding foreclosure help.

It is time for sellers to get realistic, and we as real estate professionals need to be telling our sellers the truth about the market. Eric and Nikki air The Real Estate Laundry to give home sellers the truth about what their home is worth.

Another week of great writing Tomatoes! Don?t forget to register for the Home Buyer?s Seminar next week!

I’m so grateful for highlighting my article. I put up another one this week on BeltwayRamblings about how interest rates change over the year. The fall and winter are always the best time to get the lowest interest rate of the year.

Good luck with your seminar. I am anxious to hear about the success of yours and Jenn’s. I’ll remind her to share notes.
