I flew over Lake Weiss in north Alabama on the way into Atlanta last Friday. I must say you could see more dirt than water. I am sure Lake Lanier and the other north Georgia lakes are just as bad or worse. We had an 80% chance of rain both last night and this morning here in Dothan, and we got just enough to wet the pavement. It is scary to think what might be coming down the road. Glad to hear that the Dothan, AL. area is not experiencing water shortages. Here in the North Georgia Mountains, we have many folks that have wells that are running dry due to the water table being well below average. Great tips on water conservation.
