Because we have so many folks moving here from out of town- 80,000 in 2006 alone, I try and address the many questions and concerns they have, and build a relationship with that larger audience. This naturally turns to business for me- which is good because the amount of time required to write, maintain and think through a quality blog is large~ so I am happy to report it generate business. But not like a newspaper ad, more like talking to a friend's friend in the business.
