I like to have some fun on hump day. Really should do it every week. If the story wrote itself like this one does, it would be a lot easier.

A Thursday afternoon fire at a local restaurant had an interesting origin.
A flaming toilet seat was found in the women’s restroom at Captain D’s on South Eufaula Avenue just after noon.According to Lt. Will Slade of the Eufaula Fire Department, there was nobody in the restroom at the time of the fire.
According to a report from the Eufaula Fire and Rescue Squad, firefighters were dispatched to the restaurant after receiving a call stating there was a smoke smell in the building.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and found no flames or smoke visible from the outside of the restaurant.
But upon entering the building, they noticed smoke in the hallway leading to the restrooms.
That helped them find the small fire in the restroom.
A fan motor cover from the exhaust fan mounted in the ceiling had apparently burned free from mounting brackets because of an electrical short in the motor, according to the fire department report.
As a result the cover fell on the plastic toilet seat, setting the seat on fire.
Firefighers quickly extinguished the fire, ventilated the structure and checked the attic.
They left the scene by 12:40 p.m.
“We ventilated the structure and everything was fine,” a smiling Slade said Monday.
I know there are some funny lines for this story, but the only thing I can think of at this second is I am glad nobody’s assets were burned.
