Here in Pensacola (not in your backyard, but not far away either), we have experienced a recent increase in market activity. Of 19 metropolitan areas researched in Florida for the first quarter of 2008, Pensacola came out on top with the highest increase in sales for the state. Pretty encouraging considering that Escambia County is also the poorest county in the state. The market has been mixed in many areas recently.
