		<description>Here's another way to mess up a hassle-free closing:

Have your spouse on an out-of-town business trip and don't bother to arrange for a power-of-attorney for you to sign the spouse's name on the documents.

Fortunately for us, we did have such an arrangement in place before my wife went on a business trip at the same time as our closing and moving date.

It's bad enough with writer's cramp signing all that paperwork ONCE.  Imagine having to do it twice!  (More like 3 times because of having to write the signature plus the POA designation.)</description>
